Action Creates Habit
Sandbox Environments
So much of our day to day tasks require a deep understanding of a variety of programs. A sandbox is a safe environment for a learner to know a program or tool without disrupting, affecting, or changing anything within an account. The sandbox environment looks and feels exactly the same as the real program so the employee can action the click path in order to memorize the click path—building habit.
Below is an example of a click path I created to show a customer service agent how to answer a phone call. The green “hotspot” is where they should click. The first scene uses call outs to show the learner where to click, and the second scene requires the learner to click in order without using call outs.

This is the title page explaining the expectations of the learner.

The green box is where the learner needs to click to progress forward. The learner does not see the green box in their view.

Again, you see the green "hotspot" is where the learner must click to progress. While the "hotspot" is not visible to the learner, the callout telling where to click is visible. It flies in, remains on screen for 4 seconds, and then flies out.

This screen has audio that simulates a real customer.
